Departments
Our Operational and Commercial teams all play an important part in the pensions process – taking care of administration for Local Government and Police & Fire pension schemes.
The LGPS operational teams are split by function as follows: Bereavements, Early Leavers, Retirements and Transfers & Aggregation. Our Police & Fire Team deal with all aspects of the ‘blue light’ pensions.

Our Engagement, Marketing and Communications team focus on building and maintaining relationships with our members, employers and clients by providing effective communication across an array of platforms – email, website, social media, training and conferences.

Our Risk and Compliance team are responsible for identifying, assessing and mitigating risks associated with LPPA’s operations. They ensure that the company complies with laws, regulations and industry standards and implement policies and procedures, conduct audits and safeguard the company’s integrity.

Our Data and Member Experience Teams put the member first by providing them with all the up-to-date documents they need and assisting them with any queries they may have through our in-house Contact Centre.

Our Finance team are responsible for all of LPPA’s financial activities. This includes tasks such as budgeting, financial planning, accounting and reporting. The team play a crucial role in maintaining the stability in the company.
