It’s September, so that can only mean one thing in the world of pensions… it’s Pension Awareness Week!
Starting Monday 9 September and running until Friday 13 September, this week is all about making you more aware of your pension, helping you understand how it works and highlighting the importance of saving for retirement.
This year’s annual event (which started as Pension Awareness Day in 2014) also comes just days after the 2024 Pension Attention campaign, which launched last Friday. Both campaigns are aiming to boost pension awareness by inspiring the nation to engage with their pension.
To mark Pension Awareness Week this year, we’ll be posting updates here on our News Hub and on our LinkedIn channel, LPPA Pensions, throughout the week, so be sure to look out for them.
Pension Geeks, the UK financial communications company which created Pension Awareness Day back in 2014, has also put together a series of online activities that run throughout the week.
